About Me

Dr. Linda Giudice is an obstetrician, gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist who specializes in endometriosis, adenomyosis, implantation and ovulatory disorders, and infertility.

In her research, Dr. Giudice investigates endometrial biology and placental-uterine interactions. She also studies environmental impacts on reproductive health.

Dr. Giudice earned a doctorate in biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles, then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Rockefeller University, working under Nobel Laureate Günter Blobel. She earned her medical degree at Stanford University and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Stanford and Washington University in St. Louis. She completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Stanford.

Dr. Giudice served as director of Stanford's reproductive endocrinology and infertility division before joining UCSF in 2005.

Dr. Giudice has served as president of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the World Endometriosis Society and is currently President of the International Federation of Fertility Societies. She is an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences.
